What are fire-rated spotlights?
These are spotlights protected by a metal enclosure to ensure that the cables and transformers do not come into contact with the hot bulb. This is particularly important as the lights are hidden from view in the ceiling and can, over time, cause a fire hazard.
What are IP rated spotlights?
Ingress protected spotlights must be fitted in bathrooms to prevent condensation entering the light fitting.
